I am so excited but this recent flea market find. I had a vintage camera on my wish list with no expectations of finding one. Imagine my surprise when I saw this beauty looking back at me.
She's no longer functional and purely for display . . . but what a looker she is!!
Just for fun, I played around on Picnik to give my photos a vintage flair fitting of a camera like this.
I love all the details.
Out of curiosity, I did a little research and the best I can figure it was made somewhere between 1930 and 1940.
I'm not sure where or how I'll eventually display her. Right now I'm just enjoying how much she makes me smile every time I walk by.
Until next time,
Robin

ReplyDeleteWow! That is so cool! Great find.
ReplyDeleteRobin my husband has a very similar one, accordion style camera , think his is a Kodak, it sits on our end table and it is the single most commented on accessory we have. A photo of it is in my blog archives from last year. Yours is stunning. Hubby has a collection going, small but he's choosy as to the styles. Great find.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an older but a goodie in its time.
