This morning I finally finished my Christmas decorating - - what a relief!
How about you - are you done?
Seems like it took me forever this year. It all worked out in the end, I'm very happy with the results.
For the hutch this year I tried to keep things simple, yet pretty and sparkling.
Candles, silver and greenery.
Along with a few treasured vintage items like this Christmas card.
Of course I had to throw in some stars and a few favorite white dishes.
But I'm most excited about the glitter houses.
They make me smile. Even as I rushed to finish each tiny one.
I may have taken this whole glittering things too far with the little truck. But I just couldn't help myself. I think it's adorable.
I think Santa agrees.
Now I'm off to bake up a batch of Mint Brownies and I may or may not eat half of them myself!
Perfect ending to your lovely decor!! I find I always have to put in a white pitcher!! Your home is very warm and welcoming,,,,I hope it is filled with love and laughter for the Christmas season!! I think I am done decorating,,,I just have to get a few more things posted and then it is time for a break.

Your glitter houses are so fabulous - what a talent! And I think the truck fits right in. :)
ReplyDeleteWow just stunning !
ReplyDeleteI can see why you're so excited and pleased with all your decorations, Robin! The glittered truck is precious and the Santa and Reindeer remind me of a vintage decoration my sisters and I had growing up. I just have a few minor touches to add (mainly greenery) and I'll be done decorating here. It's taken awhile but I'm liking the way everything has come together. Can't believe Christmas will be here in less than a week now!
