My front yard project is coming along and I thought you might like seeing what I've been up to.
The edging bricks have all been placed.
And new garden soil has replaced all the rocks. The only thing left to do is mulch the garden beds and grow some new grass. I'm so excited to have this project all most done.
While I've been busy working, nature has been busy too. The shrub roses and saliva are beginning to bloom.
Aren't the roses so pretty.
I love watching the buds open.
The saliva is looking good too.
I love this plant for its pretty color and wonderful smell . . . when it's in full bloom. . . when it's not blooming . . . not so much.
But for now, I'm loving the color . . . take a look - - gorgeous right!
Hopefully by next week I will be able to reveal all the before and after pictures. It's looking so good right now I can't wait to see how it looks once I have the mulch in.
Have a lovely day,
Robin

ReplyDeleteIt looks great! It sure is a busy time of year - waiting for some things to grow and some other things (like weeds!)are growing too fast! Your gardens will look beautiful I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI like the edging. It looks like it will be so much easier to keep things where they are supposed to be. The beds look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteRobin, did you know that after its first bloom, salvia can be cut back all the way & it will grow back & bloom again? it's a lovely, lovely plant! Esther
