We have a new addition in our home; not the pink or blue blanket swaddled type . . .
The furry, cuddly type!
Say Hi Shelby!
Isn't she the sweetest looking thing you've very seen!
Four years old and full of energy, she fits into the family perfectly.
We couldn't be more delighted to take her in and shower her with love and belly rubs.
She's been with us a total of twelve days now and she seems to be settling in very nicely. I feel bad that I haven't taken her out for walks since she's used to being outside a lot but dang it's been too cold and her poor little paws just can't handle it. If this weather keeps up I'm thinking puppy boots might be needed. I'm looking forward to long walks with her hopefully very soon.
She's already my baby, much to the kiddo's dismay!
I'm sure in no time Shelby will be spoiled rotten and loving every second.
Have a great day everyone and I'll talked to you soon,
Robin
What a cutie. Nice collar too!
ReplyDeleteAh, she's so cute! Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pup!
ReplyDeleteI just clicked on Elizabeth & Co. from your sidebar and saw your awesome features ... which then led me to start pinning ...which then led me to your entire board of pins ... which led me to more pinning ... Robin, you are so incredibly talented, does it come naturally, did you learn from your mom, or did you study? I've got to get to the bottom of this ;)

LOL! Your too sweet, I'm going to get a big head from all this praise!!! To answer your question . . .No I don't think it comes naturally at all. It's something I have had to work on. I have always been drawn to crafting and sewing. Like most things in life one thing leads to another so the more I've crafted the more I want to try. My mom was a wonderful seamstress and she taught me how to sew. As for decorating, learning how to do it has been a process which I feel I still need a lot of work in. Magazines, blogs, and now Pinterest is always so inspiring to me. I see something I like and try to put my own spin on it.
DeleteCongratualtions!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are beautiful. May I ask what brand of camera used?
I'm using the Canon Rebel T3i, a mother's day gift from my hubby. Sadly I haven't had time to figure it all out yet. I use PicMonkey to edit my photos.
DeleteThank you for the info, Robin
DeleteCanon is top of my next camera list. I've heard good things about PicMonkey. I'll check them out.
PicMonkey did wonders for my canon point and click camera that I have used for years. Up until just a couple months ago it was all I used for blogging

Yay!! I love it when somebody adopts a pet. Shelby is adorable and just the right size for a lap dog. We adopted our dog Belle about 8 weeks ago. She's a little bit similar to Shelby. Belle is a terrier/chihuahua mix. Her legs are long for her body and she weighs about 14 pounds. Here she is: http://poofingthepillows.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-girls.html
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! We had a Yorkie Poo that had to wear boots all winter long or her little feet would freeze. I made boots out of neon polar fleece so if she lost one it was easy to find in the snow. Enjoy your newest family member!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your newest family member! Shelby is adorable ♥
ReplyDeletehappy new year robin!

ReplyDeleteI predict a lot of photos in the future! ;o)
