Morning!
I'm ready to embrace the dropping temperatures here in Minnesota and I thought there is just no better way to do it then to make something to jazz up my outerwear.
Since I'm on a big crochet kick right now I figured a simple scarf would be quick and easy.
It turned out pretty good I think.
I crocheted the whole thing using a simple single crochet starting with a chain of thirteen. Looks like this up close.
Once I had the scarf to the length I wanted I add a fringe to the ends.
To do this I cut two pieces of yarn at a time and using a simple slipknot tied them onto the scarf at each crochet hole along the edge of the scarf.
I used a really big plastic hook from Walmart to crochet with.
And the yarn I used is this chenille like stuff I picked up at Jo-Ann's . . .
It's so soft!
It's so soft!
I have a feeling this may be my go to scarf this winter. I've been wearing it every night around the house whenever I get a little chill - - silly I know but it's so soft, I love it.
Have a great day now,
Great job! It's so cute. Wish I had your skill for crocheting! :)
