Blogging Break

Posts have been few and far between of late.  Something I felt very guilty about.  With two weeks remaining before I start working full time again I have decided to take a blogging break. 

Instead, the girls and I will kick off our annual fun filled week of Camp Johnson.  The girls look forward to this all year - me too!  Our days will be spent biking and picnicing, swimming and hiking, museum browsing and zoo walking.  Were looking forward to it!

Before I go, look at the sweet surprise Ms. Z left for me to discover in the garden.

Poor Garden!

You've been neglected of late.

Leaves are looking a bit crispy,

Weeds are staging a coup.

Regardless of your not-so-perfect environment

your beauty continues to amaze me.

It's AUGUST!!!!!!

You've got to be kidding me! 

It's August!

Thirty-five days and counting until school begins! I'm feeling the crunch.

I haven't made a dent in the summer to-do list.

How about you, has it been a productive summer or are you like me - kicking myself for letting things slide too long.

On a happy note, I pick this assorted bunch of blooms this morning for a quick bouquet.
