I can’t stop thinking about slipcovering my living room sofa.
But what color to chose?
This morning I laid out two different scrap pieces of fabric in hopes that a visual would help me make a decision.
On the left: linen like fabric in off-white/tan.
On the right: cotton duck in white.
What do you think?
(I think I like the left side better, not as stark?)
Left.
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting! I can't wait to see it and I think I agree with you about the color on the left. It looks nice with the rug. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI vote left too!
ReplyDeleteI like the tan better too...
ReplyDeleteWell, Robin, it looks like you knew the answer all along. I agree with you and the rest of the commenters . . . left it is.
ReplyDeleteI totally want to slip cover mine. I bought those slipcovers you put over your couch but the kids just pull the tuck out and it looks like I have garbage bags laying over my sofa. Maybe you will inspire me once again.
Good luck. Can't wait to see the results!
Adrienne
How exciting! I think the left one definitely works better with the rug. Are you going to sew it yourself?
ReplyDeleteHey Robin, I vote left too. I also wanted to let you know about the paint color in my room that you asked about. The company doesn't make that shade anymore(of course). I did a little research to try and match it because it needs a fresh coat. I haven't found an eco-friendly brand yet, but I did find One-Coat Kilz Sparkling Cider or number LO517. Best of luck. Betsy
ReplyDeleteI like the the left one better, I agree the white is a little stark.
ReplyDeleteoh yes - the warmer off white will be lovely. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
