For ages I've have been ooohhing and aahhhing over book wreaths.
Bloggyland is filled with beautiful examples.
They are just so pretty and I love the graphic element they give a space.
I'm not sure who came up with the idea but I do know it was pure genius!
Sadly, I've put off making one for months and months.
This week I decided enough was enough! It was high time to attempt it.
Watch out world, I'm packing a glue gun - - y'all better back up!
Here she is . . .
***sigh***
She's just so pretty!
I'm completely smitten.
For the middle I added a sparkly silver snowflake and a little tinsel pipe cleaner for added sparkle.
To finish up the display,
I added a stack of books tied with a muslin bow. Another snowflake and some small bits and pieces of holiday sparkle around a bottlebrush tree.
Along side the books I added a cake stand with a little vignette of my favorite things.
Another bottlebrush tree, a petite silver glitter church and one of the sweetest tiny reindeer from my collection.
I'm planning on switching out the glitter church for a slightly larger glitter house.
It's a project in the works . . . but instead of finishing it up I made this . . .
(are you sick of my pictures? Sorry couldn't help myself - - it just so pretty!!!)
Have you made one for yourself yet?
until tomorrow,
Robin
