Vintage Goodies Here I Come . . .

Friday afternoon,
as soon as Ms. Z steps on the school bus you'll find me sprinting for the trusty mini-van and speeding my way here. . .

To say I'm excited would be an understatement!

I haven't been to a flea market since September.  I'd say I'm long over due and crossing my fingers in hopes of finding a few items on my wish list.

Will any of you be headed the same direction?

This is a perfect example of yet another reason why blogging it so fabulous.  Without blogging, I never would have know about this event!

Which leads me to wonder, how do you find out about flea markets, occasional sales and events in your area?

  3. I've been hearing about this one on JunkMarket Style, and so many from that site will be there, tell them I said, "hI", lol. I know you will have a great time, like Jodi said, take lots of pics and happy hunting! I hear about a lot of sales from blogs, too. I try to advertise for the local ones. Lezlee

  5. That sounds like so much fun. Around here flea markets are pretty much a summer thing, so I'm in withdrawl right now. Wish we had an indoor one. BTW, I find estate sales on Craigslist and auctions on an auction website. Have a great time!

  8. Hi Robin, I hope you had fun and found some interesting items!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. You asked me how I attached the crocheted lace to the towels. I don't have a sewing machine, so I just sewed it on by hand with tiny accurate stitches.

  9. Hope you find some fun things on your wish list! I love a good flea market. I've been itching to go, too. They are pretty much seasonal here. I haven't been to a flea market or barn sale since last summer.

Can't wait to see what you find! :) ~M

  11. Hope you were lucky and found some great things! I need a little retail therapy too. Thanks for your list of favorite flowers. We have such dry hot weather here in Utah some things don't do very well here. But Zinnias do great and I'm going to try some pinks this year. Good idea about the Dahlias. Just replant! I always feel guilty when I don't get them out of the dirt in time. So looking forward to spring this year. Mimi
