Pretty Pumpkins

Good Morning!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  We're enjoying unseasonably warm temperatures here in Minnesota with highs near the 80's.  I'm finding it a little difficult to get into the spirit of fall with such warm weather.  It seems weird to me to see the leaves starting to change colors yet enjoy summer like weather.

To help myself out I thought a few pumpkins might get me in the October spirit.

I picked up two pie pumpkins at the grocery store and placed them on the dinning room table next to some faux hydrangea's.

I just love pumpkins, don't you?  They always make me smile.

Yep, these little guys have done the trick.  I can feel my October  mojo coming to life.

How about you?
Are you in need of a few cute pumpkins to get your mojo running?

Talk to you soon,
Robin

  1. These look too good to eat Robin. They are so plumpsious and golden: real little autumn jewels.

  2. We have been in the 80's as well and I am ready for cooler temps! It will be 60's by the end of the week and I can't wait! Love the pumpkins, they really say "fall".

  3. It's been warm here too. This past weekend I forced myself to start decorating because I am hosting October bunco on the 18th. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't! :)

  5. Oh, isn't the weather just glorious?! I haven't gotten any pumpkins yet. I want white ones and all the ones I've seen look crappy.

  6. I am all decorated regardless of the warm temps! Pumpkins and trees turning into gorgeous yellow and orange splendor makes me happy too!

  7. We are having great weather here in AB too. just a little crispness in the air which is my favorite time of year. We are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada this week end, so I have lots of Autumn decorating to do, which does involve some pumpkins too. Heres hoping my mojo kicks in too.
