Quick Farmhouse Chair Makeover

I have another quick summer project to share today. 
I picked up this great farmhouse style chair at a garage sale and instantly fell in love. 

After debating about what color to paint it, I decided on a cheerful cherry red.


The seat was covered with a crisp red and white stripe which I love.


I think I made a good color choice since now I love the chair even more and I know it will look amazing in my kitchen.  I'm even thinking about repainting my existing black chairs in the same color.  What do you think?

    Oh Robin! I LOVE your farmhouse chair, it's gorgeous in red. Makes me wonder if I should paint some of my chairs that colour, it's fabulous!

    Oh I do adore the new coat of red on your chair!!! It's funny how a little can of paint can really make such a huge difference on a piece - love it!!! I am on the lookout for a perfect old chair...but I don't want to pay much (if anything for one)! lol Thanks for sharing!!!

    I am totally a 'red' girl. I have a red bench like yours and I have a very similar style chair we found on the street and painted red. I can't wait to explore your site more. But, unfortunately, school starts tomorrow and the teacher should be rested on the first day.
