Good Morning!
The kiddo's were very excited to hear this morning that they had a two hour late start this morning due to of very icy roads!
Because if it we have had a slow start this morning!
Let me tell you, it's a great way to start the day in the middle of the week.

I did manage to finish up decorating my hutch this morning and I am very pleased to be able to share it with you today.
I'm going for a very clean, uncluttered look in my home right now so of course I wanted the hutch to reflect that as well.
I decided to keep things very simple with a white and black theme. A touch of tarnished silver added just a little more to the mix and I am loving the results.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Stacey! I love the pop of black against the white too!

Awww, your so sweet. Thanks!
DeleteYour hutch looks lovely and fresh, Robin...I'm a fan of black and white, too!
ReplyDeleteYou accomplished the clean, simple look you were trying for, and it looks beautiful, too. The touches of silver make it perfect, in my opinion. My faves are your personal photographs.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I just bought some ink (black) chalk paint yesterday, but I need to get up the courage to go for it. It's not a color I tend to use.
ReplyDeleteGo for it Lady! it will be awesome! I love how it looks with white, which I know you have some of LOL.
DeleteRobin-This is a first for me. I have never responded to anyone nor do I have my own blog. But I just had to tell you-I love your blog. You keep things real and I love that. I love your tutorials and the whole nine yards. I started following you about a month ago and I have actually tried to go back and catch up from your first blog. My children are grown now, but I stayed home with them and I love watching you raise your children and shuttle them around. I remember those days! I really look forward to my morning coffee and see if you posted for the day!
ReplyDeleteAwww,it makes me so happy to hear that you enjoy what I have shared. One of the reasons I started making videos was the realization that my kiddos were growing up way to fast and I wasn't taking the time to appreciate our time together during the busy times. Taking video's makes me slow things down and capture a snipit of time. I love it. makes me so happy that you do also.
ReplyDeleteYour hutch looks amazing! I have really fallen in love with black and white this year so I am diggin' your beautifully arranged shelves!
