I took the time this morning to spread a little red, white and blue around the house.
Fourth of July always seems to sneak up on me and despite my good intentions decorations rarely make their way out of storage. Which completely baffles me since I love decorating with Old Glory colors.
Here's a favorite of mine.
A vintage patriotic postcard with a postmark date of 1911.
(sorry about the blurry photo - camera's having a bad photo day - grrrrr)
Have a great day,
Robin
Oh everything looks wonderful. I love the red star. All of your vignettes look fabulous. Hope you have a super 4th. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHI! Your old glory decorations look fabulous. You always put together the best vignettes - and always seem to have the perfect accessories.
ReplyDeleteI, do not. I hate to admit this but I don't like to decorate for the 4th because I cannot stand red in my house. I do put a flag out though!
Have a wonderful and happy weekend!
Sarah :)
Hope your 4th was as fun as ours. Cute decorations. Mimi
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I just read your tutorial on a headboard and I am wanting to do something similar but add hooks so we have place for our stuff! Do you have any idea how much the lumber costs, I am trying to create a budget before moving forward. Thanks again.
