A few years back my mom gave me a box filled with a few things from my Grandmother.
I was delighted to find a collection of deer.
For Christmas, Grandma would have the deer arranged around her home and she would let us play with and rearrange them. It was always something I looked forward to each year.
Now I proudly display them throughout my Christmas decor.
Thinking of Grandma . . .
And smiling.

ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what the holidays are all about....family. Your deer are precious!
ReplyDeleteOh and those lights were terrible, they are sitting here waiting to go back to Home Depot. Ugh, torture for my eyeballs. We ended up with regular mini lights instead of going back for the warm ones. :)
