This and That . . .

It's Monday night and I'm a little confused as to where in the heck my day went!

Do you ever have day's like that!

So Frustrating!

Anywhoo . . . enough about my "non-day" and more about what I did this weekend.

I had big plans.  Christmas crafting plans.

I started out the morning working on this...

I completely miscalculated how long it would take to put it together.

After a couple of hours, I took a break and finished up a few Christmas displays.  I did manage to complete the house and even had it painted up by bedtime.  Now that it's all put together I am very excited.  Can't wait to show you all what I have planned for it.  Hopefully I'll have everything completed by Wednesday!

In the kitchen, I tucked some fresh greenery and ornaments around my collection of pitchers on top of my cabinets.

I love how it adds a touch of Holiday Cheer to everyday items.

I also had an emergency run to Micheal's for hot glue sticks.  While I was there I spotted this tinsel cutey ...

My love for deer and reindeer this time of year wouldn't let me pass him up.  Plus he was on sale for $4.

I haven't found a permanent spot for him in the house yet, but for know he's placed next to a trophy bowl filled with glitter ornaments . . .

...which rests on one of my favorite reproduction kitchen towels.

. . .these sweet little snowmen make me smile every time I pass by.

until tomorrow,

Robin

  1. So cute, I just love the decor. I will have to see if I can find some fresh greens around here, usually I have a terrible time finding some. I know how the day can slip away, Friday was that way for me; just wish they went that fast at work!

  4. I am anxiously waiting for the house. I bet it's going to be great. At my Michael's, I didn't see any of those cute reindeer. I am jealous!

  5. I have that reindeer. Bought it at the barn sale this week - and for more than $4.00! Your snowman towel makes me smile too. Very cute.
