I had the opportunity to stop in at the thrift store the other day and found this to bring home with me.
Not sure if it's considered a creamer or a gravy boat.
I'm going with gravy boat since I love me some gravy!
I have a little collection which comes in very handy around the house.
Other than it's traditional use . . .
Sometimes they help organized napkins.
In the spring I fill them with wheat grass.
When not pressed into some duty, they sit around accomplishing their most important task - -
looking pretty and making me smile!
Hope you all are having a lovely day.
Robin

ReplyDeleteand i agree that its a gravy boat, thats what it looks like to me!
Perfect addition to your collection! I love the shape and of course the color! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are SO cute with the wheat grass growing out of them! I never would have thought of something like that.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who likes white dishes more...you or me? I am very jealous of your new gravy boat. I especially like the idea of planting wheatgrass in it!
ReplyDeletei *love* them with the wheat grass!! the green is just GORGEOUS against the white!! :)
ReplyDeleteRobin, what a wonderful post! Lovin' the wheat grass! xoxo tami
ReplyDeleteThat definately looks like a gravy container to me, too. I love how the wheat grass looks in them, so fresh and green. I love finding nontraditional ways to hold things in containers you wouldn't usually use. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that wheatgrass idea. Just shouts Spring!!! I call those things gravy boats. I have a thing for sugar holders. I keep finding just the sugar holder (without the creamer) at thrift stores.
ReplyDeletehey robin! just wanted to let you know i mentioned you in my post today...you've totally inspired me to make a slipcover for my couch...just letting you know...thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGravy bowls are so pretty, I love the idea of the grass, but I have no place to put them. I really like the idea of putting napkins in them, though, you are one smart cookie.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, Cindy
