Good Morning!
It's a beautiful spring morning. The sun is just peeking it's head up this morning, the birds are happily chirping and the air is still cool from the night.
It's a day in which I hope to find myself working in the garden as much as possible. Something I've been doing a lot of lately.
It's a year of reorganizing in the garden. I'll be moving plants around, splitting some, removing others and adding more of my favorites.
On a recent trip to Walmart a few new blooms made their way home with me.
A Pink Double Knockout Rose in 'Radtkopink'
She has beautiful pale pink blooms.
Two Twist and Shout Hydrangea's.
Look how pretty the blooms are.
And finally, one Flower Carpet Rose in Pink Supreme.
Oh Look! Mrs. Duck stopping by to check out the new blooms too!
Hope she likes them!
Have a great day everyone and happy gardening!
Robin
What a pretty combination of flowers! I just love roses, especially since I haven't killed any yet. In California, roses are very hardy plants. Now I did plant some hydrangeas, but they died. I'm great at planting, but not so good at watering!!
ReplyDeleteI am anxious to get some blooms in our yard going as well, and I have some reorganizing to do in some beds. I think it is finally spring here on the prairies. You have a duck,,,I have a rascally rabbit on my property. i have seen him three times now...don't really want him ruining any shrubs and stuff. You have a great day and happy gardening
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your spring gardening. We are in autumn down here and it feels like winter with a snap very cold and rainy weather.
ReplyDeleteYour lovely photos of the gorgeous roses and hydrangeas have brightened my morning which is looking very bleak weatherwise. Roses and hydrangeas are two of my favourite plants to have in the garden. Looking forward to seeing some more of your garden in future posts.

I saw those hydrangea at my Walmart today. I may have to go back and get one because I've been thinking about it all day. Plus you have it in your post, so I am taking that as a sign!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos. So inspiring ... ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this week!

Love those roses, Robin! Just beautiful! And hydrangeas are a weakness of mine! Can hardly wait to see how they look in your garden! :)

Isn't it great having the warmer weather and everything greening up? I'm even enjoying the humidity! Your flowers are all going to be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I hope they thrive!

This is the second time I've heard about Knock Out Roses in the last week. Is this your first one, Robin, or do you have others in your garden? I'd be curious to try some--as well as David Austin roses. Those are real old-fashioned beauties!
