Decorating for the Fourth!

Things are beginning to look a little festive around here.  The girls helped me decorate for the fourth of July.  Even though we won't be home, it's helped us get in the festive spirit.

Outside we hung simple bunting on the fence and then added a few stick flags to the garden beds.

Inside, the living room received most of our attention.  We added lots of red, white and blue.  I love how it all pops out at you from the white background.  Hmmm, still loving my white walls.

On the shelves we mixed together patriotic printables, flags and red accessories until we had a look that we liked.  The fabric flag on the top shelf is simply stretched over a blank canvas and stapled in place.

In the hutch I wanted to keep some of my previous displays like the glass jars and birdhouses.  A few touches of red and blue was all that was needed to give it a patriotic vibe.

I love the simplicity of the arrangement.

Plus I love the fact that it took no time at all to complete.
I'm all about quick and simple around here lately with the girls home.

What's more simple than a stack of white ironstone and a red star?
Looks amazing to me, hope it does to you also.

Have a great day,
