Holiday Home Tour Part Two: Living Room and Dining Room

Good Morning!

Today I'd like to share Part Two of my Holiday Home Tour.

Focusing on both the Living Room and the Dinning Room.

Enjoy!

The Living Room

In the Living Room I added lots of white with pops of red and silver.  Definitely one of my favorite rooms in the house to decorate.  Always so light-filled and cheerful.  I especially like it during the holiday's.

It always feels so cozy and restful.

Vintage ornaments and jeweled tea lights add just the right amount a sparkle necessary for this time of the year.

A simple wreath brings in a touch of green and looks great hanging on the rustic barn door.

The curtains were replace with this rag garland I made last year and could hardly wait to dig out again this year.  Sparkling beaded garland was layers over the top since there is no such thing as too much sparkle this time of year.

All in all the Living Room turned out bright and cheerful  . . . the perfect place to sit and enjoy a chat and a steaming cup of peppermint cocoa!

For the hutch this year I really wanted to keep things very simple and use as many of my cherished white dishes as possible.

Touches of red here and there help the display tie in with what's going on in the Living Room.

And of course vintage deer are always welcomed in my home!
These were a great thrift store find from last year . . .

so cute!

I couldn't resist adding another bowl filled with vintage ornaments.

They look so lovely and cheerful I can't seem to get enough of them.

Dining Room

In the Dinning Room I've carried over the white and silver theme along with of course some bits of red here and there since a room is not complete at Christmas time without at least of touch of red.

The tree is decked out in white, silver and crystals with a sprinkling of kid-made ornaments.  It is not quite finished but it's looking very pretty!

A simple display of pretty glass candle holders and winter berries surround a homemade chalkboard.

I love how just a few simple items have such a big impact!

In the corner, a vintage tablecloth adds some color and whimsy to the room along with a silver tinsel tree.

Again, keeping things simple, the centerpiece is a grouping of candles, silver deer, tiny ornaments and a cute little tree.

Pretty. Simple. Festive!

Hope you enjoyed this tour of the Living and Dining Rooms . . .

bye now,

Robin
