This is a lovely photo of the flowers my dear sweet hubby presented me with on Mother's Day.
I kept two roses to place on my bedside table now I have a beautiful surprise every morning.Out on the sun porch I have this beauty enjoying the afternoon sun in her new gorgeous enamelware container.Along with these perfect pansies I placed into another enamelware container sitting atop a newly painted red bench. And finally, a handful of perfect purple pansies placed on the eating table.
All my thrift store found containers worked out beautifully as planters. I added a couple inches of gravel to the bottom of each container in case I over water.
The flowers look great! Can't wait to plant mine.
ReplyDeleteI love the enamelware for planters. Great Idea. And I always love milk glass. But I must admit, I have better luck with outdoor gardening.
ReplyDeleteTHose are all so pretty. Happy late Mom's Day to you. If you do the lights and the poles, I'd love to see! :)
ReplyDeleteHi!! Robin,
ReplyDeleteI'm a MN gal too!!! I found you thru Renee's blog. I rent space at an monthly sale shop and a booth at an antique store. Email if you want the details:)
Love the roses you received and the treasures you found.
Deb :)
What wonderful pictures. I soooo enjoyed this "walk" through the flowers. Today I am planting flowers. I've been working in my backyard and Sunday I bought 8 containers of geraniums...they will be planted at the base of each Queen Palm we've planted.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great day!!!
