I'm finally posting again. Sorry it has been so long. Life has become crazy busy around here lately and every free moment I have been working on my bathroom redo. The room is almost ready to show off, maybe tomorrow.
In the mean time I thought you might like to take a gander at the little bench I built to us in the bathroom.
I used a 8 foot 1X12, a scrap of 1X10 and two 1X4's. I cut the the wood to it's appropriate size and using wood screws, attached them all together. Next I primed and gave it a base coat of white followed by a beautiful blue. Here she is. 
Next I took my sander out and gave it a good sanding to make the base coat come through the top coat. And finally I wiped on two coats of Wipe On Poly.
Here's the finished project. Adorable don't you think?
