Planting Time . . . FINALLY

It's finally planting time here in Minnesota and I couldn't be more excited.

I must confess - -

as much as I impatiently await planting time it's not my favorite task.

In fact, I dread it.

Don't get me wrong, gardening is a passion of mine.  I enjoy the planning, the watering, the weeding and the picking of flowers but I can't stand the planting.  Weird I know, but I'm OK with that.

Yesterday I picked up a few annuals and perennials to get me started on the dreaded task of planting time.
Perennial Dianthus in Pink Lemonade

Dahlia's

Impatients in three shades of pink.

Annual Saliva in purple.

Pale pink Peony.

Limelight Hydrangea.

Tomorrow, if I can get my "you know what" in gear, I'll be in my garden, planting away.

  1. In between the rainy days I've been planting too. Love the overnight case. I had one when I was a teenager in red. Wish I still had it. Mimi

  2. Good luck with your planting, not my favorite part either but the end result looks good.

  3. Whenever we have a break in the clouds...you'll find me planting too...although I don't mind the planting...it's the weeding that gets me.
