I was thrilled to find a white glass compote at the thrift store the other day. I thought it would fit in perfectly with my decor. I love it's petite size.
Layered on top of a pretty scalloped platter and filled with flowers from my rose shrubs, I have to say I'm completely smitten.
What's not to love really?
If you ask me, I'm thinking it likes it's new home too!
How about you, have you found a treasure your completely smitten with lately?
Enjoy your day,
Robin
Looks lovely. How could you not be smitten?! I certainly am. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I remember my mom being smitten with compote dishes, though she called them candy dishes because she always put candy in them. I love how yours is displayed.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Very pretty! I like it so much, and such a nice size.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely! It looks high end and NEW - no one would ever guess its thrifty beginnings!
ReplyDeleteLove the simply, yet elegant look!

Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteYOur little white compote is lovely, the roses are gorgeous and you are brilliant to put it all in an ironstone plate along with river rocks! I love it.
Hugs, Cindy
