A Hankering For . . . Vintage Food Screens

It's funny how obessions start!
You see something once, then you see it again some time later and suddenly it's like you just have to have one.
That's where I find myself when it comes to vintage food screens.

A couple months ago I'd never seen one . . . .

Now I can't stop imagining how I would use one when I finally purchase my very own.

They seem like they would be a very handy decorating tool indeed.  Not to mention very useful on the back patio.

I'm not that picky either.  This chicken wire reproduction looks pretty amazing it me.
How about you?
Are you loving the look?

  2. Yep!! I am loving the look. I don't think I paid much attention to these either. Now, like you I am hooked and will probably be keeping my eye out for one! It's a great alternative to the bell jar look! Love it!

  3. I have two really cute ones that Target put out probably 5 years ago. Here's the truth...they've been in a cabinet the whole time because I can't figure out exactly what to do with them. Maybe I'll put then on the wall.

  4. I love them. My Mom had one that she always used to cover a pie on top of the sideboard in the kitchen. I wish I had it now. Love yours- xo Diana
