Last night I was feeling sort of crafty. Watching TV or reading just wasn't keeping my attention. So I gathered some supplies to make myself a Valentine -- no matter that it was eleven o'clock and I really should have gone to bed! Who need sleep when crafting is calling!
Scrapbook paper, stamps, ink, red felt and my trusty sewing machine was all I needed to finish one off in record time.
It's simple and sweet but Oh' so much fun to make!
Took me back to my grade school days.
You know, back years ago when everyone made homemade cards for Valentines Day. I really think we should bring back the tradition.
I've placed this beauty on my hutch in the living room. It spreads a little cheerfulness to the room and makes me smile.
How about you? Do you make your own cards?
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and crafty! No, I do not make my own cards, but after seeing so many wonderful ones..I am tempted to make some for my Bible study gals.. There is just something special about recieving a homemade Valentine. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love how you used sheet music. The past few years I've been making my own cards for my husband and he loves it. Come to think of it, I need to get on that for this year!
ReplyDeleteSo cute... I think i need to make one with our schnauzer's silhouette. Great inspiration... thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed! It is so pretty! What a fun project!
ReplyDeleteSO cute Robin! You've been busy crafting - it's such fun in the winter, especially with cute Valentines! Love your little pillows, too. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Fun to personalize and make your own. It was always fun when the kids made valentine boxes out of shoe boxes for their school parties.
