Mini Blogging Break

Good Morning!

I don't know about you but this week is FLYING by so fast I can't seem to catch my breath.

Last Friday my sister had surgery on her back to correct a herniated disk so I've been helping out over at her house most days.  We are both so thankful that we live so close to each other.  It makes times like this much less stressful to deal with.

As you can image, my blogging time has been moved to the back burner so to speak.  Instead of stressing out over not posting anything new for my wonderful followers, I've decided to take the week off and concentrate on getting my sister back on her feet.

Hopefully next week will find me elbows deep into a few projects to share.

And since blogging without a photo is a big no-no, here's a pretty flower photo I took of the lovely geraniums on the porch last summer.

Pretty flowers are once again just around the corner.
Can hardly wait.

Until next week,

  1. Your sister is way more important than blogging. Glad your there to help her out! Hope she feels better soon!

  2. Take all the time you need, Robin. Family comes first, and how blessed your sister is to have you helping her.

    Prayers for her full recovery.

  3. I am wishing your sister all the best! A healthy recovery and lots of time sister bonding.
...the geranium is lovely...I can't wait till spring in Canada!!!

  4. So nice you have a sister nearby and can spend time with her! I know she will love having you there! XO
P.S. Hope that geranium IS around the corner...another snowstorm tomorrow sigh...

  5. You take as long as you need to help your sweet sister, we understand. Hope she heals quickly from the surgery. Yes, spring is only like 38 days ... or 29 ... oh I forget but it's soon! :)

    Hugs ~ Mary

  6. You are such a good sister! Hope she heals up quickly. Back surgery doesn't sound like fun :(
