Reversible Signage

Good Morning!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately.  Lost my motivation for a while, but now I'm rested up and ready to tackle some projects.

The first project being a new sign to hang in my living room.  If your like me, I try to use one in almost every room just because they are so fun.

After scrounging around my pile of scrap wood and coming up empty handed I had the brilliant idea to reuse the existing sign I had hanging in the living room.  It was the perfect size, so I took it off the wall, flipped it over and started painting my new sign.  Easy Peasy!

Here is what the old sign looks like.

I'm now calling it the "winter sign".

And here is my newly painted sign on the other side.

Or otherwise called the "spring sign".  LOL

It was the perfect solution, plus now I have another pretty sign but it won't take up any more storage space. A win - win.  May just have to do this with all of my signs from now on.

In case your wondering how I hung the sign, I used these handing helpers.

Love these things and use them all over the house.
Just used the poster sized ones for the first time in my daughters room.
They work like a charm.

Have a great day,

Robin

  1. Such a great idea, Robin, and your spring sign turned out great - I love the winter sign too. I was wondering how you were hanging it so thanks for the tip, I'll have to try those. BTW, very pretty white candlesticks!

  7. I made a ton of wreaths in the last 6 mo - thanksgiving, christmas, valentine's day, patriotic, easter, spring and graduation wreaths. I put those hooks on every door in the house so I could hang them either for decoration or just to store them before they were given away....
