Favorite Project of 2014

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you had a delightful time celebrating the Holidays with your family and friends.

It was a banner year for us here at Happy at Home and I feel blessed and so very thankful for the people in my life.

With that being said, it looks like I have some explaining to do about why it's been almost three weeks since my last post.

I spent a nice long visit with my parents over the kids winter break, followed by a week or more of caring for sick kids and myself.  Blogging sort of got pushed aside while I took naps and cuddled with my kiddos.

Now, I'm on the mend, and ready to take on the new year!

Before I start showing off newly completed projects I'd like to take you on a little review of my favorite projects from last year.

It's always fun to look back at past projects this time of the year . . . motivates me, and gets me excited about the upcoming new year.

First off lets take a look at my two favorite makeovers of the year.

(you can click on the photos to take you to the original posts)

Corner Hutch Makeover,

Headboard Makeover,

This past year I had quite a few sewing projects that worked out well also. . .

Easy Sweatshirt turned Pillow,

Ruffled Edged Pillowcases,

A Picnic Blanket from vintage linens,

Pinched Pleat Tablecloth,

And of course the list wouldn't be complete without a few DIY projects to keep things interesting . . .

A hand painted reversible sign,

Silver Napkin Rings,

And finally, a simple Bead-board Box,

All in all, 2014 was a good year here at Happy At Home.

Thank you to each of you that stop by on a regular basis...It means the world to me.

Thanks.

Robin
